Here is what some of our clients are saying about us.

I visited Melanie at Harmony Osteopathy after having lots of pain in my neck and shoulders. The treatment was gentle but effective, but what is really impressive is the preventive advice she gave me – she hit the nail right on the head. After making adjustments to the way I sit (at the office) and my sleeping position, I am now pain free for 5 months since my appointment. Prevention is better than cure –thank you Melanie!

Melanie’s work is gentle, intuitive and affective.  One session showed immediate improvement.   After the first treatment my rib problem was corrected and the pain was gone.  After a while, I had a 2nd treatment that was focused on my respiratory problem.  After the treatment, I found an improvement in my posture and breathing. Thank You,

Rhonda J.

I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and to thank Melanie for her excellent work in treating my wife. My wife is often the last person to ask for help with any thing, and is often sceptical about treatments she is not familiar with. After seeing Melanie twice, not only did her aching shoulder feel so much better, but she has already recommended Melanie and her Osteopathic treatments to other friends. Melanie is not only very professional, but a very warm, friendly and caring person who really helps take the aches and pains out and put the smiles back in.

Melanie consistently delivers excellence in her consultations, treatments and manner. She delves deeper to investigate the issues in order to provide an outstanding service to ease pain and alleviate the problem. I can highly recommend Melanie and her Osteopathic clinic.

Towards Wellness

Invigorate Your Exercise Routine

Feeling restless? That’s normal this time of year.

Instead of letting that agitation irritate you, harness it and take yourself to the next level.

Walk a little faster, bike uphill instead of flat stretches, go to a dance class, join a softball league, or try a yoga class.

Of course you should still listen to your body and rest when you need to, but don’t use that as an excuse to be lazy
Conquer your fear and step up to the plate first. You might be surprised at what you can accomplish, and how great you feel, when you do.

Stretch of the Month

This exercise stretches the lower back.

1. Get onto all fours. Your arms should be in line with your shoulders and your legs should be in line with your hips. Arch your back and hold this position for a count of 30. Then flatten your back for the count of 30.

2. Your eyes should be looking at the floor and your arms should be kept straight.
